About the PTFA

 

Parents are automatically members of the PTFA (Parent Teacher & Friends Association) which exists to improve opportunities for our children. Led by a committee of parents the PTFA organizes fun events for the children and their families and raises funds to support learning experiences at school. If you are interested in joining the committee please contact the school office and they will be happy to pass your name to one of the committee members.

 

The PTFA do a fantastic job in making sure our children always have those extras to enhance their time at Chislet Church of England Primary School. They also help reduce costs for parents by subsidising the Federation minibus and some school trips.

 

Over the past few years money raised has gone to support theatre groups coming into school; new equipment selected by our school council; resources in classrooms to enhance the learning of our children and many more supportive projects.

 

The PTFA are a friendly group of parents who want to support all children and you would be very welcome to attend a meeting and help out.
