Term 6 Week 5

Monday 29th June 2020

Dear Archie, Eva, Harriet, Starr, Georgi, Evie W, Ben, Evie C, Troy, Mollie, Dylan, Henry, Kealey, Alice, Jake, James, Lily, Ella, Emmie, Edie, Monty, Louie, Cameron, Charlie, Nicole, Jack and Leo!     (and all your hot and bothered teachers!)

Phew! It’s been so hot lately! I hope you are all keeping in the shade with your hats on, drinking lots of fluids and using lots of sun cream!

We have finally had a ‘Tutt’ family dinner together but we had to sit in various positions in the garden to eat our dinner which was very strange! I hope that you are now able to see other family members and close friends a little more for catch-up chats and walks.

It seems that the Government cannot decide what a safe distance is at the moment. One news bulletin I have watched told me two metres is the correct safe distance to keep from each other while another told me one metre is now safe enough! I think we shall have to invite our Prime Minister to join one of our Numeracy ‘measuring’ lessons so that you can show him the difference!

Thank you all for continuing to work so well at your work. I have received lots of messages, pictures and positive comments from so many parents who are also so proud of everything you are doing to keep busy! Keep it up!

I appreciate that there are days when you don’t really want to do very much – especially when the weather is so hot and sticky – but please try to do a bit of reading or practise your times tables on those days as this will certainly help you in the future.

I hope that you have a great week x

Be Good, Stay Safe and look after each other!             Love Mrs Tutt
