Term 6 Week 6

Monday 6th July 2020

Dear Archie, Eva, Harriet, Starr, Georgi, Evie W, Ben, Evie C, Troy, Mollie, Dylan, Henry, Kealey, Alice, Jake, James, Lily, Ella, Emmie, Edie, Monty, Louie, Cameron, Charlie, Nicole, Jack and Leo!     (and all your tired teachers!)

Where did July suddenly appear from? June really flew by! The days seem to merge into one at the moment and, if I wasn’t busy preparing work for the children at Chislet, I wouldn’t really know what the date was either!

If we were at school at the moment then I’m sure that we’d all be preparing for the end of term and thinking about those year 6 children who are going to be leaving Chislet to begin the next part of their academic journey. I know that it’ll been a very anxious time for them at the moment, especially as they haven’t been able to have their important transition days to visit and spend time in their new schools.

Luckily for you, you’ll eventually be returning to school where - all the staff know you (and you know them); you know where everything is or who to ask if you’re not sure; you have so many friends who’ll be so pleased and excited to see you; you know and understand the school rules and how we all work together in a positive way; but most importantly – a school where you feel safe, happy and calm. Hopefully most of you will also be ready to get back into a regular school routine and continue with your learning too!

I have prepared a selection of activities for you to do for this week if you have the time to fit them into your home school learning timetable. But, as I always mention, don’t worry if you are already busy doing other things.

I hope that you have another super week x

Be Good, Stay Safe and look after each other!             Love Mrs Tutt
