Term 6 Week 7

Monday 13th July 2020

Dear Archie, Eva, Harriet, Starr, Georgi, Evie W, Ben, Evie C, Troy, Mollie, Dylan, Henry, Kealey, Alice, Jake, James, Lily, Ella, Emmie, Edie, Monty, Louie, Cameron, Charlie, Nicole, Jack and Leo!     (and all your tired teachers!)

This would have been your last full week at school before the Summer Holidays begin! What a very strange phenomenon we have been living through for the last few months. I really hope that we can get back to having some sort of normality and routine in our lives very soon. I’m sure that most of you will be spending your annual family holiday at home this year instead of jetting off to different exotic places. I know from my own personal experience that I’ve actually learnt quite a lot about some wonderful places near to where I live that I never really realised were there before! I’ve been on some lovely walks with spectacular views across our beautiful countryside. We often take things for granted and forget about the natural beauty on our own doorsteps!

You have all done so well to continue with your learning throughout this whole ordeal. I have heard nothing but positive comments from everyone about how optimistic and mature you have all been in coping with everything – which is brilliant! I am so proud of all of you!

I have prepared a selection of activities for you to do for this week which I hope you will enjoy doing. But, as I always mention, don’t worry if you are already busy doing other things. At this time of year, teachers and children begin to ‘wind down’ in preparation for the longer school holidays and I’m sure that your home school teachers certainly need a well-deserved break along with everyone else, so don’t worry if you are too busy – or too tired – to do much! I completely understand!

I won’t be setting work for next week but you can still access lots and lots and lots and lots of great activities that Mr Sanders has been regularly putting on the Chislet School website.

I hope that you have another super week and a fabulous Summer Break! x

Be Good, Stay Safe and look after each other!             Love Mrs Tutt
