Week Beginning 11/01/21
Hi there to all the home learners and resident teachers of children in Class 3!
Not only did we have to break away from each other before Christmas due to our school being affected by this nasty virus but we’re all being kept apart again!
So, yet another week has gone by without having the pleasure of seeing or hearing from a lot of you and that makes me feel quite sad! Fingers crossed that it won’t be for too much longer! I feel confident that your time at home has been productive and that you have all been keeping yourselves (and your brains) busy with either academic work or other fun activities.
I hope you enjoyed doing some (or all!) of the tasks that I prepared for you last week but if you haven’t managed to, then please don’t worry. I know that a lot of you are regularly ‘Purple Mashing’, ‘Rockstar’ times tabling and downloading some of the different free and interesting tasks that Mr Sanders has put onto the school website for you to use if you want to.
I think it is going to be quite tricky for me to mark and reward any work at the moment. So, I am requesting that you keep anything that you have managed to complete (whether the set work or any other) for future marking and rewards.
I also understand that some of you may not have the necessary resources to access some activities. I completely empathise the concerns that this may cause you and want you to know that we, as a small school, will do anything we can to support you. I know that the PTFA have offered valuable assistance on the facebook page. If there is anything I can do to help in any other way, then please email the school office and I will respond as soon as I can. Although I am in school on Thursdays and Fridays at the moment helping to cover the KS2 class of children, Ms Campion will forward any emails as soon as she receives them which I can access at home. This is the same for if you need me to call you about something.
As some of you know (the children certainly do) I am not a technical wizard in any way at all! I am content and comfortable with the technology that I know and use regularly but, given anything new to decipher, I am hopeless! Therefore, I am warning you in advance that I will not be performing any ‘magical’ online, zoomy, whizzy lessons because, in all honesty, it is beyond my IT capabilities!
I hope that you have a great week and enjoy doing some of the tasks I have sent prepared for you x
Be Good, Stay Safe and look after each other! Love Mrs Tutt x
