Hoath Primary School

Welcome to Hoath Primary School

'Small School, Big Community, Unlimited Potential'

Our School Vision

At Hoath Primary School we provide a welcoming, friendly community and safe environment in which

pupils can learn and grow in confidence, within a culture of mutual respect and acceptance.

We are committed to supporting, nurturing and guiding the children on their individual learning journey,

to gain the life skills, independence and values to set them on the path to achieve their

individual dreams and prepare for life as global citizens.

We are a small, hard-working, friendly school, with an extended-family ethos. We believe that all children should be able to fulfil their dreams and we aim to help them realise this by unlocking their potential. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for parents, pupils and friends.

Pupils thrive and flourish in this stimulating and nurturing school environment. They are happy at school, where there is a family feel and a real sense of community. There are strong relationships between staff and pupils which are based on mutual respect. One parent said, ‘It is more than a school, it is an extension of our family.’ (Ofsted, January 2022)

'This school continues to be good. Leaders have ensured that the strengths identified at the last inspection have continued, as well as effectively addressing the areas for improvement. There is a strong and effective culture of safeguarding in the school.' Ofsted January 2017.

'This is a good school.  The quality of teaching is typically good and sometimes outstanding.  As a result, pupils achieve well and attainment at the end of Year 6 is typically above average in reading, writing and mathematics.' Ofsted May 2013.
