Dear Children, Parents and Carers of Class 2,
I hope that you are continuing to look after one another during these confusing and strange times? We at school hope that everyone is well and finding ways to keep busy both mentally and physically. Below is a range of work that I have put together for children in Class 2, separated into the individual year groups.
Please take care, stay strong and stay safe.
Hope to see you all soon - Miss Lupton
Welcome to Class Two
Class Two is home to the children in Year 1 and Year 2. Currently the class has a total of 27 pupils.
Miss Lupton works as the Class Teacher and the children have the benefit of one full-time Teaching Assistant, Miss Reynolds and Mrs Wain supports one child's needs for the majority of the time but is also able to support the class as a whole.
The curriculum is carefully planned to ensure that all needs are met and to allow all children to reach their full potential. For Music, P.E. and R.E. the children are taught by specialist teachers. Class 2 are found at the end of ‘new build’, with glorious views of the school field.
The staff at Hoath Primary School are currently in the process of re-working the curriculum, so that we are able to deliver an education to the children that is appropriate and inclusive to all. Once complete, each class timetable and Long Term Plan will be shown here on the website.
We have also re-drafted the schools Vision Statement which we hope encapsulates the school.
‘We provide a welcoming, friendly and safe environment, within a culture of mutual respect and acceptance, where everyone learns together to gain life skills, values and self-confidence to set them on the path to achieve their individual dreams and prepare for life as global citizens.’
