School Council

Mrs. Phillipson runs the School Council and they meet every Thursday lunchtime between 12.30 and 1.00 p.m. The school council are elected in early September and they are usually in post for 6 months. A new election is then held at February half term to allow another two children from each class to get a turn to hold a position of responsibility within the school. Children from across the school work together to make a difference.

The school council are responsible for organising the many charity days we hold and they determine which we will support every year and why. They organise school rewards and school celebrations such as the Harvest Festival. Currently, the school council are fund-raising for a quiet reflection area within school. They have planned their 'ideal' space and are now busy begging and borrowing! So far, they have collected a £100, a bird table, some binoculars and bird feeders towards their venture. Keep an eye on this page for regular updates including a statement from the school council.
