School Dinners

At Chislet Church of England Primary School we offer children the opportunity of having hot school dinners.

Parents can choose whether children have a hot school dinner or bring in a packed lunch.

Parents are able to make this choice on a day to day basis.  Parents can look at the menu (see below) and decide if they wish their child to have a school dinner on that day.

During registration children are asked if they are school dinners or packed lunches. If they choose school dinners, children then get to choose from 3 different menu choices each day. We then phone through the orders that morning to be delivered to our school for lunchtime. The company that provides our meals is called Caterlink.

The cost per meal is £2.42 for junior age pupils and universally free for all infant age pupils.  Please remember that school meals are payable in advance, i.e. the morning of the day your child is having a school dinner or if planning for the whole week then the start of that week.
